Meera Nandan
Biography
Meera Nandan is an Indian actress, radio jockey and television presenter who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. Born Meera Nandakumar on 26 November 1990 in Kochi, Kerala, she began her career as a television presenter before entering films.
She gained attention as a host on the popular Malayalam reality singing show Idea Star Singer in 2007. She made her film debut as the female lead in Mulla (2008), directed by Lal Jose and starring Dileep. Her performance brought her recognition and helped establish her as a promising young actress.
Meera went on to appear in films such as Valmiki (2009), Puthiya Mugham (2009), Kerala Cafe (2009), Patham Nilayile Theevandi (2009), Elsamma Enna Aankutty (2010), Seniors (2011), Oridathoru Postman (2010), Apothecary (2014) and Gold Coins (2017). She has also worked in Tamil and Telugu cinema.
In addition to acting, Meera pursued a radio career. She moved to Dubai in 2014 and worked as a radio jockey, while continuing to make occasional film appearances. She later returned to acting with films including Gold Coins and Ennalum Ente Aliya (2023).
Meera Nandan is also a trained singer and has hosted several television programmes and award shows. Her career across film, television and radio has made her a familiar personality in Malayalam entertainment.
