Michael Klick
Biography
Michael Klick was an American television producer, production manager, and director, born on February 20, 1948, in the United States. He built a long career in television, working on major drama and action series. He died on August 10, 2025, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 77.
Klick was particularly known for his work on 24, where he served as a producer and unit production manager for many episodes. His work on the series earned him his first Primetime Emmy Award in 2006.
He later became closely associated with Homeland, serving as a producer, executive producer, and production manager. He also directed three episodes of the series, including “The Flag House.” His work as part of the Homeland production team contributed to the show's acclaimed run and earned him a 2012 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series.
His other notable credits include The Pretender, 24: Redemption, Awake, Taken, Love & Death, and Pulse. Across his career, Klick worked in producing, production management, directing, and assistant directing, becoming an experienced figure in American television production.
