Michael Mosley

Biography

After spending many years honing his craft as a supporting actor, Michael Mosley finally emerged as a leading man on the highly anticipated primetime drama series "Pan Am" (ABC, 2011-12), a sexy soap about the pilots and flight attendants working at the iconic airline in the 1960s.

Early in his career, Mosley earned his stripes by tackling several guest roles on popular crime dramas such as "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999- ) and "Third Watch" (NBC, 1999-2005).

He ventured into independent film acting with roles in the dramas "Swimmers" (2005) and "Room 314" (2006), and with small parts in big-budget romantic comedies such as "27 Dresses" (2008).

In 2009, Mosley landed one of his most high-profile roles as a laconic medical student on the comedy series "Scrubs" (NBC, 2001-08; ABC, 2009-2010). His appearance on "Scrubs" paved the way for a major part of "Pan Am," the show that propelled Mosley's status in Hollywood and gave him his first taste of mainstream success.
