Michelle Van Der Water is a South African and Australian actress and model known for her work in both film and television.

Biography

Born in March 1978 in Cape Town, South Africa, Van Der Water's heritage is a blend of Dutch-African (from her father) and Indian-African (from her mother). She later moved to Australia, graduating from Inaburra School in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. 

She is also a graduate of Wollongong University, where she earned a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree in Graphic Design and New Media before shifting her focus to acting. She has trained at various institutions, including the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles and H.B Studios in New York.

Michelle Van Der Water is a versatile performer whose career has seen her in lead and supporting roles across various genres.

Film: Her film credits include the supernatural horror movie Minotaur (2006), where she played a lead role, and the horror film Teeth and Blood (2015), in which she portrayed Detective Sasha Colfax. Other movie appearances include Max Knight: Ultra Spy and Journey to Lasta.
