Minae Noji was born on 30 May 1973 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She is an American actress, voice actress, singer, and dancer of Japanese heritage. She studied sociology and music at the University of California, Irvine, and began performing at a young age.
Noji is widely known for playing Karai in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014). She has also appeared in films and television productions such as Be Cool (2005), Memoirs of a Geisha (2005), and General Hospital, where she played Dr. Kelly Lee from 2006 to 2012.
She has also developed an extensive career as a voice actress, lending her voice to animated productions and video games. Her credits include BoJack Horseman, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, and the Fire Emblem and Tales video game series.
