Biography

​Mishti Chakravarty, born Indrani Chakraborty on December 21, 1994, in Calcutta (now Kolkata), West Bengal, India, is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil films. She holds a degree in English Literature from the University of Calcutta. Initially inclined towards modeling and acting, she pursued a career in the entertainment industry, adopting the stage name 'Mishti' upon her entry into films.​

 

Career:

Mishti made her Bollywood debut with the film Kaanchi: The Unbreakable (2014), directed by Subhash Ghai. She then ventured into Telugu cinema with Chinnadana Nee Kosam (2014), starring opposite Nithiin. Her Malayalam debut came with Adam Joan (2017), where she acted alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. 

 

In Kannada cinema, she appeared in Brihaspathi (2018) and Tamil films like Semma Botha Aagathey (2018). Mishti also featured in Hindi films such as Great Grand Masti (2016), Begum Jaan (2017), and Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019), portraying Kashibai. Her recent work includes the Telugu film O Saathiya (2023).​
