Moon Sung-nam (문성남) is a prominent figure in the South Korean music scene, primarily known as the vocalist and bassist of the influential rock band Every Single Day (에브리싱글데이). Beyond his band activities, he has also established himself as a talented composer and producer for various projects, including popular television drama soundtracks.   

 

 

Biography:

Born in Busan in 1977, Moon Sung-nam formed Every Single Day in 1997 alongside guitarist Jung Jae-oo and drummer Gang Moon-chul. The trio later relocated to Seoul to pursue their music career. While other members have come and gone over the years, Moon Sung-nam has remained a constant presence, leading the band with his distinctive vocals and basslines.

As a member of Every Single Day:

Every Single Day debuted in 1999 with their album Broken Street. The band has since released several albums and EPs, carving a niche for themselves in the K-rock scene with their blend of rock, post-rock influences and introspective lyrics. Some of their notable releases include their self-titled second album in 2004 and Tom's Diary in 2007. Moon Sung-nam has been the consistent voice and driving force behind the band's musical direction.   

 

 

As a Composer and Producer:

In addition to his work with Every Single Day, Moon Sung-nam has actively contributed to the soundtracks of several well-loved South Korean television dramas.
