Mrinal Jha
Biography
Mrinal Jha is an Indian writer, screenwriter, and producer who works primarily in Hindi television and digital entertainment. She has been active in the industry since 2007 and is known for creating and writing popular television dramas and web series.
She has written for several successful shows, including Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kaahin Kissii Roz, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Maayka, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Nazar, Ishqbaaaz, Naagin, and Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka!.
Jha was one of the key writers and creators associated with Qubool Hai (2012–2016) and later wrote the story and screenplay for its streaming continuation, Qubool Hai 2.0 (2021). She also served as a producer on the series under the name Mrinal Abhigyan Jha.
Her other notable projects include Tara From Satara (2019), Divya Drishti, Pishachini (2022–2023), The Socho Project (2022), and Janani – AI Ki Kahani (2024).
Jha has received recognition for her storytelling, including the Gold Award for Best Writer (Story) in 2008 for Maayka and the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Story in 2019 for Tara From Satara. She is also the co-founder of Undercover Utopia, a creative production company.
