Muhammed Rahil
Biography
Muhammed Rahil is an Indian cinematographer who works primarily in Malayalam cinema. He was born on 20 January 1994 in India and has built a career in cinematography and camera work.
Career
Rahil began his career in the camera department, working as an assistant cinematographer on films including The Great Father (2017), Love Action Drama (2019) and Vellam (2021). He later worked as the second cinematographer on John Luther (2022).
His breakthrough as an independent cinematographer came with Kannur Squad (2023), directed by Roby Varghese Raj and starring Mammootty. Rahil served as the film's cinematographer, creating the visual style for its police-procedural and nationwide investigation sequences.
He is also associated with the upcoming film Kollam Kotta Company, for which he is credited as cinematographer.
