Biography
Muktha George, also known as Muktha, is an Indian actress who has worked mainly in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. She was born on 19 November 1991 in Kolenchery, Kerala.
Muktha made her acting debut as a child artist and gained wider recognition with the Malayalam film Achanurangatha Veedu (2005), directed by Lal Jose. Her performance as Lisamma brought her considerable attention and established her as a promising young actress.
She subsequently appeared in several Malayalam films, including Avan, Nasrani, Kancheepurathe Kalyanam, Swantham Lekhakan, Apoorvaragam, Mastan, and Kuttanadan Marpappa. She also acted in Tamil films such as Thaamirabharani (2007), Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal (2013) and Kannan Thamizhane.
Apart from cinema, Muktha has worked in Malayalam television and has appeared in serials and television programmes. She is known for portraying both youthful and character-oriented roles across Malayalam and Tamil entertainment.
Muktha married Rinku Tomy, the brother of Malayalam playback singer Rimi Tomy, in 2015. She has continued to make appearances in Malayalam television and entertainment alongside her film career.
