Nakul Roshan Sahdev

Biography

Nakul Sahdev is best known as an actor and producer.

Sahdev completed his schooling at Saint Paul Sr. Secondary School, Rajasthan. Later, he enrolled in NMIMS, Mumbai, to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce Honors. However, he quit NMIMS to pursue an acting course at Whistling Woods International, Mumbai.

In 2010, Sahdev joined Excel Entertainment, a film production company based in Mumbai. He was an assistant casting director for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) (2011), starring Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, and Katrina Kaif. This film was a box office hit, bringing in over Rs.150 crores.

Sahdev made his acting debut as the main antagonist in the television series Ishaan (2010) (2010-2011), which aired on Disney Channel. He also made his Bollywood debut in 2011 with the romance drama Mod (2011), where he played the younger version of the lead character Andrew Raymond.

Sahdev has since acted in several Hindi movies and television shows, including Jo Dooba So Paar: It's Love in Bihar! (2011) (2011), MTV Fanaah: An Impossible Love Story (2014) (2014), Strings (2017) (2017), Gully Boy (2019) (2019), and Pagglait (2021) (2021).

In Gully Boy (2019), Sahdev starred alongside Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The musical drama won several awards, including the 2020 Filmfare Award for Best Film and Screenplay.

Sahdev also starred in web series like Love Lust and Confusion (2018) (2018-), Girgit (2021) (2021), and Aar Ya Paar (2022) (2022-).

Besides acting, Sahdev worked as a producer for the award-winning short film Dalí. In 2016, he worked as a co-producer for another short film Rubaroo (2016), which won the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards for Best Foreign Short Film Student.
