Biography
Navin is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer who has predominantly worked in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. A trained flautist, he began learning the instrument at the age of five and studied both Carnatic and Western styles.
Navin began his film career as a flute player, performing on the song “Luka Chupi” from Rang De Basanti (2006) under composer A. R. Rahman. He subsequently worked with composers including Harris Jayaraj and G. V. Prakash Kumar before making his debut as a film composer with Kalyana Samayal Saadham (2013), initially using the stage name Arrora.
His Malayalam debut as a composer came with Peruchazhi (2014), directed by Arun Vaidyanathan and starring Mohanlal. He later composed music for Tamil films such as Oru Naal Iravil (2015) and Vil Ambu (2016), establishing himself as a composer known for blending instrumental and contemporary musical elements.
