Neil Pagedar
Biography
Neil has formerly worked with the Films Division of India as a producer and associate director on feature-length documentaries. Neil worked as a casting associate and 2nd unit director on the critically acclaimed period-horror film Tumbbad.
He, along with Pooja Shetty, was the creative producer behind the documentary film An Insignificant Man (2016), and producer on the board game Shasn (2020).
Neil and Pooja were formerly the co-founders and the directors at Memesys Culture Lab, a new media studio that has produced films and shows that have been showcased at TIFF, IFFR, Cannes Lion, and Sundance.
Currently, they are the founders and directors of Stotomata Studios, a studio that resides at the intersection of art, science, and philosophy, and strives to provide meaningful discourse in an increasingly disrupted world.
The series Ok Computer (2021), India's first sci-fi comedy series, was their directorial debut. It was also the first series to be screened at the Bright Future's section at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam 2021 and the New Zealand International Film Festival, 2021.
Currently, the series is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar in India, Canada, and the UK and on Hulu in the United States. Neil is currently working on an original young adult series idea for a leading Indian platform and another series project as creator while developing several other original ideas of his own.
