Nelson Ipe
Biography
Nelson Ipe is an Indian film producer associated primarily with Malayalam cinema. He is the founder of Nelson Ipe Cinemas and is best known for producing the Mammootty-starrer Madhura Raja (2019).
Early Life and Career
Nelson Ipe's early life involved considerable struggle. He began his working life as a taxi driver in Dubai and gradually built a successful transport business. By 2000, he had established his own vehicle company, Kerala Transport, in Dubai. His interest in Malayalam cinema eventually led him toward film production.
Before becoming an independent producer, Nelson was involved in the production of Mr. Marumakan (2012), which was produced by Maha Subair and Nelson Ipe.
