Nigel Havers is an English actor and presenter best known for his work in film, television, and theater, particularly in romantic comedies and period dramas. He was born on November 6, 1951, in London, England, into a family with strong ties to the legal profession; his father, Michael Havers, later served as Lord Chancellor. Despite this background, Havers pursued a career in acting and trained at the Arts Educational Schools in London.
