A well-known television and film actress, Niki Walia has been dubbed as the Madhuri Dixit of the small screen. Famed for her role as Dr Simran in the television serial Astitva (2002), which aired on Zee TV, Walia also acted as a judge for Femina Miss India in 1994 and has worked for over 30 years in a whopping 31 television serials.
Her stellar career consists of her working as a model, compere, VJ, host, and actress on television as well as the film industry. Dubbed with the coveted title of World Ambassador for Peace in 1991-1992, she was also a part of Cloud 9, the UK`s first British Asian soap.
Her notable acting credits include the popular serials Baat Ban Jaye (1995), Sea Hawks (1996), Gharwaali Uparwaali (2001), Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara (2017), Punchbeat (2018), Shaandaar (2015), Lupt (2018) and Tuesdays & Fridays (2021).
