Nivas K. Prasanna
Biography
Nivas K. Prasanna is an Indian music composer and playback singer who works predominantly in the Tamil film industry, with contributions to Telugu cinema as well. He began learning Carnatic music at an early age and trained in piano, completing seven grades of music examinations. He later studied Visual Communication at SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai.
He made his debut as a film composer with the Tamil mystery thriller Thegidi (2014), earning recognition for its songs and background score. His notable musical works include Sethupathi (2016), Zero (2016), Kootathil Oruthan (2017), Devarattam (2019), Kodiyil Oruvan (2021), Oh My Dog (2022), Sembi (2022), Takkar (2023), Emakku Thozhil Romance (2024) and Bison Kaalamaadan (2025). He has also contributed as a playback singer to several film soundtracks.
