Biography
Nivin Pauly is a prominent Indian actor and producer who works primarily in Malayalam cinema. Born on 11 October 1984 in Aluva, Kerala, he was raised in a family with roots in both Kerala and Switzerland, as his parents were employed abroad. He completed his engineering degree in Electronics and Communication before turning to acting, initially working in the IT sector.
Nivin Pauly made his acting debut in Malarvaadi Arts Club (2010), directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. The film marked the beginning of a successful collaboration and helped establish him as a relatable and natural performer. He gained widespread popularity with films such as Thattathin Marayathu (2012), Om Shanthi Oshaana (2014), and Premam (2015), which turned him into one of the most bankable and beloved actors in Malayalam cinema.
Known for his versatility, Nivin successfully transitioned from romantic and comedic roles to intense, character-driven performances in films like Action Hero Biju (2016), Moothon (2019), and Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham (2021).
