Nobi Nakanishi
Biography
Nobi Nakanishi was born on 4 May 1975 in New York City, USA. He is an American actor, voice actor, director, and producer of Japanese descent. He studied at Vassar College and later earned an MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Nakanishi began his screen career with appearances in television, including Teen Wolf, where he played Young Katashi. He later appeared in productions such as The Mistress, Wolf Pack, Teen Wolf: The Movie, Hard Days, and The Days. In The Days (2023), he portrayed Yoshida/Masao Yoshida, a key figure during the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.
He has also worked extensively as a voice actor, lending his voice to projects such as Marvel's Hit-Monkey and the English version of Squid Game. His recent credits include Uncle Samsik, Golden Kamuy, Confidence Queen, and Last Samurai Standing.
Beyond acting, Nakanishi is known for directing and producing The Leviathan Chronicles, a long-running science-fiction audio drama that he directed and produced. His career spans film, television, voice acting, podcast production, and other forms of international entertainment.
