Norman Reedus is an American actor and model best known for his iconic role as Daryl Dixon in AMC’s post-apocalyptic television series The Walking Dead. Born in Florida, Reedus spent parts of his youth in Los Angeles, California. He briefly attended Bethany College in Kansas before moving back to California, where he worked in various creative roles, including as a painter, sculptor, and photographer.
Career
Reedus’s career began in the late 1990s, with his breakout role coming in The Boondock Saints (1999), where he portrayed Murphy MacManus alongside Sean Patrick Flanery. The film gained a cult following and helped solidify Reedus’s reputation as a gritty and intense performer.
