Okezie Morro
Biography
Okezie Morro lit up the screen with his piercing eyes and intense personality. Born in Watford, England, Morro spent the first eight years of his life in Lagos, Nigeria, before returning to his birth country permanently.
After his hopes of a football career were cut short by a high school injury, Morro discovered a passion for acting and eventually was accepted into the drama program at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Shortly before graduation, Morro landed his first onscreen gig, playing a member of the Tuskegee Airmen in the George Lucas-produced WWII epic "Red Tails" (2012). This led to an uncredited appearance in the zombie apocalypse film "World War Z" (2013) and a series of regular roles in the African series "Shuga" (MTV, 2009- ).
However, Morro's biggest role to date came when he was cast in the series adaptation of Stephen King's horror classic "The Mist" (SpikeTV, 2017-).
