Olivier Rousteing was born on September 13, 1985, in Bordeaux, France. He was adopted as an infant and raised in France. From an early age, he developed a passion for fashion and later studied at ESMOD (École Supérieure des Arts et Techniques de la Mode) in Paris, one of France's leading fashion schools.

Career

After graduating, Rousteing began his career at Roberto Cavalli, where he worked in the women's wear design team for several years. In 2009, he joined Balmain as a designer, and in 2011, at the age of 25, he was appointed the brand's creative director, becoming one of the youngest leaders of a major Paris fashion house.

Under his leadership, Balmain gained worldwide recognition for its luxurious tailoring, strong silhouettes, intricate embellishments, and celebrity collaborations.
