Onur Güvenatam
Biography
Onur Güvenatam was born in Ankara in 1985 and is a prominent Turkish producer and the founder and executive producer of OGM Pictures. He began his career in the media industry at a young age and, at 29, co-founded his first media company, which became known for producing successful drama series for Turkish and Middle Eastern audiences.
Throughout his career, Güvenatam has been involved in creating more than 800 hours of prime-time drama content. His notable productions include Wounded Love (Vatanım Sensin) and Evermore (İstanbullu Gelin). Wounded Love received awards for Best Drama and Best Screenplay in 2017, while Evermore earned an International Emmy Award nomination in the Telenovela category in 2018.
Güvenatam also played an important role in expanding Turkish original content internationally. He produced The Protector, Netflix's first Turkish original series, which premiered in December 2018 and went on to reach audiences in more than 180 countries. He later developed The Gift, another major Turkish Netflix original, which premiered in 2019.
As a producer, Güvenatam is known for pursuing bold and unconventional stories. His goal is to develop groundbreaking projects across television, digital platforms, and feature films while contributing to the evolution of the Turkish entertainment industry.
