Born on April 26, 1978, in Ymir, British Columbia, Canada, he is the son of actor Tell Schreiber and has a half-brother, actor Liev Schreiber. He was raised in the United States and later studied theater at Carnegie Mellon University, where he developed his acting skills.

 

 

Schreiber began his professional acting career in the early 2000s, appearing in television series and films. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Nick Sobotka in the critically acclaimed television drama The Wire.
