Patrick Jonsson
Biography
Patrick Jonsson is a Swedish film composer and music producer based in London. A multi-instrumentalist, he works primarily in film and television and regularly contributes to international and U.S. productions.
Jonsson is known for composing music for documentaries such as Virunga (2014), The White Helmets (2016), and Frame by Frame. His score for Virunga received critical recognition, while his work on Frame by Frame was nominated for Best Documentary Score at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards in 2015.
He also composed the score for the feature film Bends (2013), earning a nomination for Best Original Score at the Golden Horse Awards. In addition to his own compositions, Jonsson has assisted other composers on major studio productions, including Thor, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and Brave.
Known for his atmospheric and versatile scoring, Jonsson has established a career spanning documentary filmmaking, feature films, and large-scale international productions.
