Pavan Grover

Biography

Grover began writing screenplays professionally with Unspeakable (2002), a thriller directed by Thomas Wright. He also appeared in the film alongside Dennis Hopper, Dina Meyer, Lance Henriksen, and Jeff Fahey. The project marked an important early step in his transition from medicine into filmmaking.

He later served as an executive producer on Odd Thomas (2013), the supernatural thriller based on Dean Koontz's novel series.

Grover's most prominent filmmaking project is 97 Minutes (2023), an action thriller directed by Timo Vuorensola. Grover wrote, produced, and acted in the film, which stars Alec Baldwin and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. He portrays Anan.

The film follows a hijacked Boeing 767 that has only 97 minutes of fuel remaining while intelligence officials debate whether to shoot it down. The story centers on an undercover Interpol agent attempting to prevent a catastrophe from inside the terrorist cell.
