Percelle Ascott
Biography
Percelle Ascott, born 10 June 1993 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, is a Zimbabwean-British actor, writer, and producer. He moved to England with his family when he was three and grew up in South London. He later trained at the BRIT School, where he developed his interest in acting.
Ascott gained early recognition through the online comedy series Mandem on the Wall, which he co-created with Joivan Wade and Dee Kaate. He later starred as Benny Sherwood in the CBBC science-fiction series Wizards vs Aliens (2012–2014).
His best-known international role came in Netflix's supernatural drama The Innocents (2018), where he played Harry, a teenager who runs away with his girlfriend June after discovering her extraordinary shapeshifting ability.
His other notable credits include X+Y (2014), The Weekend (2016), Doctor Who (2018), Tin Star (2020), and Netflix's I Came By (2022). He also co-founded Wall of Comedy, later expanded into Wall of Entertainment, where he works as a producer and creative executive.
