Biography

P.G.Vinda is an Indian Cinematographer, writer, and Director who made his debut as a cinematographer with the National award-winning film Grahanam (2004 ). He received critical acclaim for the camera work displayed the exceptional quality of the visuals and it was a pioneering effort in the history of Telugu cinema on digital technology. He made his debut as a writer & director with a children's movie The LotusPond (2011) on his childhood fascination got very good public appreciation at the 17th (ICFFI )Children's International Film Festival, India.

He graduated from the JNTU School of FineArts in Photography and visual communication ,Vinda was born into a farming family from village Palem, district Nagar Kurnool Telangana & had a good academic record, and had showcased good paintings right from his earlier ages. His childhood also gave him a good vision of cultural and folk arts as his father Govind Narayana was a street theater artist who has done and gone through folklore and street plays.

P.G. Vinda's association with Indraganti Mohana Krishna worked in many films such as Grahanam(2004), AshtaChemma(2008), Antaku Mundhu Aa Tarvata (2014), Gentlemen (2016), Ami Thumi (2017), Sammohanam(2018) etc., Vinda worked with several notable directors like Purijaganadh, Neelaknata, Jayanth C. Paranjee. Apart from mainstream films, P.G. Vinda has also done many AD films, TV commercials, Documentaries, and Short films too.

PG Vinda was honored with the official title of 'Cam Wizard' at Creative Planet's "The Sreekaaram" award @ Mumbai Andhra Mahasabha.
