Pooja Kanwal Mahtani (born 24 January 1982) is an Indian actress who has worked extensively in Kannada-language films and Hindi television. She gained recognition for playing lead roles in the Kannada films Seven O’ Clock and Tirupathi, where her performances were well received.
In Hindi television, Pooja appeared in the popular series Palampur Express, portraying the lead character Pawni. Her role in the show helped her establish a strong presence on Indian television and expand her reach beyond regional cinema.
Apart from acting, Pooja Kanwal Mahtani is also associated with the media industry and is currently working with Aaj Tak and India Today Group.
Personal Life
Pooja Kanwal Mahtani is the daughter of journalist and television anchor Anita Kanwal. She married Avinash Mahtani, a jeweler based in Bandra, on 6 November 2009.
