Early Career: Prasanna S. Kumar started his career under the guidance of cinematographer P. G. Muthiah, working as an assistant on the film Poo. This early exposure helped him hone his craft, and after gaining valuable experience, he moved on to work with the accomplished cinematographer R. Rathnavelu.
