Prasanth Mambully began his career in the entertainment industry through stage shows and television programs. He made his directorial debut in 2008 with the Malayalam film Bhagavan, starring Mohanlal. Remarkably, the film was completed within just 19 hours, setting a record for fastest film production at the time.
His second film, Sugreeva (2010), marked his entry into Kannada cinema with superstar Shivarajkumar in the lead role. Mambully broke his own record by completing this film in 18 hours, earning recognition in the Limca Book of Records as the fastest filmmaker in the Indian film industry.
