Biography
Prashant Bhagia made his debut as a Director for Long Format with "His Story", which received much acclaim & accolades. Senior critic Subhash K Jha wrote: "This is probably the finest coming-out series/film you will see in this country for a very long time. No matter how you look at it His Storyy is a game-changer for same-sex celluloid stories in India."
Prashant directed his second web series called "Badtameez Dil", a drama comedy set amid the beautiful locations of Europe.
Prashant Bhagia started as an Advertisement Film Director and has directed Ads for Brands like Hdfc MF, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Bajaj Finance, Max Bupa, Tata Sampann, Shaadi.com, Thomas Cook India and many more.
Prashant worked for 14 years for Rising Sun Films under the mentorship of Mr. Shoojit Sircar. Among the prominent campaigns, Bhagia worked as an Associate Director on the Gujarat Tourism commercials featuring Amitabh Bachchan. He has also worked as an Associate/Chief Asst. Director on the critically acclaimed feature films 'Vicky Donor', 'And Pink' and also worked as the Second Unit Director on 'Gulabo Sitabo'.
Prashant has done his Master in Arts (Eng. Lit.) from Mumbai University.
