Prashanti Tipirineni
Biography
The Hyderabad-born Prashanti Tipirneni was working with her businessman father when producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni approached her to design the costumes and style the artists in their debut production Vedam in 2010.
Jumping at the opportunity, Prashanti made her debut with the Allu Arjun, Manoj Manchu, and Anushka Shetty-starrer Telugu drama, which gained her appreciation for her collaboration with Anushka Shetty.
Following her debut, she was associated with the 2011 sports drama Golconda High School, for which she designed costumes for the whole cast of the movie, however, she received praise for her work on the lead actress Swathi Reddy's costumes.
A turning point in her career came with S. S. Rajamouli's magnum opus epic drama Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion. She received widespread recognition and appreciation for her work in the larger-than-life movie.
Following the Baahubali series, Prashanti yet again collaborated with Anushka Shetty in the 2015 Tamil-Telugu bilingual romance Size Zero, which also featured the likes of Arya, Urvashi, Prakash Raj, and Sonal Chauhan.
Making her debut as a producer, Prashanti was associated with the 2018 Telugu movie Awe, featuring a powerful ensemble cast comprising Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, and Srinivas Avasarala.
