Pratibha Ranta is an Indian actress best known for playing Chahat in the Zee TV drama Qurbaan Hua. Born on 17 December 2000 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, she grew up in a Himachali family and developed an early interest in performing arts. Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius.
Early Life and Education
Pratibha completed her schooling at the Convent of Jesus & Mary School in Shimla. With a strong inclination toward dance and theatre, she actively participated in stage performances during her school years. After completing her education in Shimla, she moved to Mumbai and enrolled at Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management, where she pursued a degree in filmmaking.
She comes from a close-knit family. Her parents are Rajesh Ranta and Sandeshna Ranta. She has two siblings—an elder sister, Abha Ranta, and a younger brother. Her grandparents are Amichand Ranta and Shanti Ranta.
Early Career
Before entering television, Pratibha worked as a theatre artist and trained dancer in Shimla. Determined to build a career in the entertainment industry, she shifted to Mumbai along with her sister Abha to explore opportunities in modelling and acting.
In 2018, she earned recognition by winning the Miss Mumbai title, which further boosted her path toward acting.
Acting Breakthrough
Pratibha made her television debut in 2020 with Qurbaan Hua, where she starred opposite Karan Jotwani. Her portrayal of Chahat received appreciation and made her one of the promising young faces in Indian television.
