Pravin Mani is an Indian composer, music director, record producer, and musician who has worked primarily in Tamil cinema, while also contributing to Malayalam and Telugu films. He began his professional career in the early 2000s and has been associated with the music of several Indian films.
Career
Pravin Mani has had a long association with composer A. R. Rahman, contributing to several of Rahman's projects as a musician and programmer. He was involved in the background scores of films such as Mudhalvan and Alaipayuthey, and later collaborated with Rahman on projects including Enthiran.
As an independent film composer, Pravin Mani's notable work includes Ottran (2003), a Tamil spy thriller starring Arjun Sarja and Simran. He composed both the film's soundtrack and score. The soundtrack featured six songs, including “Chinna Veeda,” “Oru Paarvai,” “Uttalangadi,” and “En Kanave.”
