Biography
Priyal Gor is an Indian television and film actress, best known for her role as Iccha in the romantic fantasy drama Ichhapyaari Naagin.
Early Life
Priyal Gor was born and raised in Mumbai in a Gujarati family. She has a younger brother and an elder sister. Encouraged by her mother to pursue acting, she entered the entertainment industry at a young age.
Career
Gor began her acting career in 2010 with the lead female role in Ram Milaye Jodi. That same year, she appeared in Disney Channel’s Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De and soon landed the lead role of Mona in Ram Milaye Jodi. At seventeen, she played Monia/Manyata in Dekha Ek Khwaab and later had supporting roles in Baat Hamari Pakki Hai and Ammaji Ki Galli. She also appeared in single episodes of shows like Gumrah: End of Innocence, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, MTV Webbed, Savdhaan India, and made a cameo in Ek Boond Ishq. Gor participated in the Pakistani reality show Madventures and appeared in several television and print advertisements, which helped increase her popularity.
In 2013, she made her feature film debut in the Punjabi romantic comedy Just U & Me, playing an NRI named Geet. She then made her Telugu debut with Saheba Subramanyam (2014), a remake of the Malayalam film Thattathin Marayathu. In 2015, she played the female lead opposite Prithviraj Sukumaran in the Malayalam film Anarkali and later signed on for God Bless You by Benjith Baby.
In 2018, Gor played the lead role of a lesbian in the web series Maaya 2 and joined the cast of Zee TV’s Aap Ke Aa Jane Se as Chameli. She continued her television career with Colors TV’s Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story (2020) as Parvathy and Sony SAB’s Tera Yaar Hoon Main (2021) as Mamta.
