Rachel Ramsay
Biography
Rachel Ramsay is a British producer, director, and writer known for her work in documentary and factual television. She has built a career producing and developing projects focused on sports, entertainment, and human-interest stories.
Ramsay served as a director alongside James Erskine on the 2023 documentary Copa 71. The film explores the remarkable and largely forgotten 1971 Women's Soccer World Cup, using archival material and interviews with women who participated in the tournament.
Her television producing credits include Clarkson's Farm, This Is Football, The End of the Storm, Travel Man: 48 Hours in..., and The Chasers Road Trip: Trains, Brains and Automobiles. She has also worked as a story producer and development producer on several factual entertainment projects.
Ramsay has also directed the short film Static and served as executive producer on the 2025 short Solers United. Her work demonstrates a broad range across documentary filmmaking, sports programming, and television production.
