Biography
Radhika Lavu has been a driving force in bringing stories to life that push creative boundaries. Throughout her career, she has discovered her true calling as a producer — one who strives to translate a filmmaker’s vision into distinctive and compelling narratives on screen.
Beginning her journey as a freelance filmmaker, Radhika went on to produce Gods of Dharmapuri (G.O.D.), a Telugu web series on Zee5, and Unheard on Disney+ Hotstar, both under her production banner Ellanar Films, which she founded to champion bold and meaningful storytelling.
A graduate of Goldsmiths College, University of London, where she mastered the nuances of filmmaking, Radhika has since produced a wide range of content — including documentaries, short films, critically acclaimed OTT shows, social media campaigns, ad films, and corporate reels.
Her dedication and entrepreneurial spirit have earned her several accolades. In 2020, she was honored by BW Business World’s Young Entrepreneurs Summit & Awards as one of India’s Most Enterprising Young Minds. The following year, she received ADGully’s Leader 2.0 Award for excellence as a young industry leader. She was also presented with the Women Who Lead National Award 2021, recognizing her outstanding achievements in the field of movies and filmmaking.
