Raj Brar
Biography
Rajbinder Singh Brar, popularly known as Raj Brar (3 January 1972 – 31 December 2016), was an Indian singer, actor, lyricist, and music director associated with Punjabi cinema and music. He rose to widespread fame with his hit album Rebirth in 2008, featuring music composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, which became a major milestone in his career.
Raj Brar made his acting debut in the Punjabi film Jawani Zindabaad (2010), marking his entry into cinema alongside his successful music career. He continued to remain active in films and music, earning recognition for his expressive style and emotionally driven work. Before his untimely death, he had completed the shooting of his final film, Aam Aadmi, which was later released in 2018.
Raj Brar passed away on 31 December 2016 at the age of 44. Despite his early demise, he is remembered for his significant contributions to Punjabi music and cinema, and his work continues to be appreciated by fans and artists alike.
