Biography
Ramesh M is a self-made entrepreneur and a distinguished producer in the Kannada film industry, known for his contributions to critically acclaimed and commercially successful films. He gained prominence with Nathicharami (2018), Padde Huli (2019), and Uppu Huli Khara (2017).
Nathicharami won five national awards at the 66th National Film Awards and was showcased at the 20th Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Oxfam Best Film on Gender Equality Award. The film also secured the Netpac International Jury Prize at the 11th Bengaluru International Film Festival and four Filmfare Awards South, including Best Director and Best Actress Critics.
Ramesh M played a pivotal role in introducing actor Shreyas Manju to the industry through Padde Huli. His upcoming projects include 100, a cybercrime thriller directed by Ramesh Aravind, Gaalipata 2 by Yogaraj Bhat, and an untitled Hindi film.
