Ramya Pandian
Biography
Ramya Pandian is an Indian actress who primarily works in Tamil cinema. Born on 13 August 1990 in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, she began her acting career with short films before moving into feature films.
She made her feature-film debut with Dummy Tappasu (2015) and gained wider recognition with Joker (2016), in which she played Malliga. She subsequently appeared in films including Aan Devathai (2018), Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum (2021), Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam (2022), Kayilan (2025), Charukesi (2026) and Arulvaan (2026).
Ramya also became popular through television and reality shows, particularly Cooku with Comali and Bigg Boss Tamil, where her appearance helped increase her public profile.
Her performance in Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and starring Mammootty, marked an important addition to her film career. She has continued to work across Tamil cinema while taking on both dramatic and character-oriented roles.
