R. David Nathan
Biography
R. Raghu, later known as David Nathan, is an Indian film director and television producer who has worked in both Telugu and Tamil entertainment industries. He is the son of veteran actor V. K. Ramasamy. In 2015, he adopted the name David Nathan, marking a new phase in his professional journey.
Active since the 1990s, Raghu directed several drama films, many featuring actor Karthik in leading roles. He began his directing career with Vigneshwar (1991) and continued making films until Sundara Pandian (1998), in which Karthik played dual roles. After stepping away from film direction, he shifted his focus to television serial production and became involved in the TV industry. Following his name change in 2015, David Nathan moved into story writing and contributed to Telugu films such as Gentleman (2016) and Yuddham Sharanam (2017).
