Early Life & Background

Reema Sen was born on October 29, 1981, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She completed her schooling at St. Thomas Girls' School in Kolkata. From a young age, she had an interest in modeling and acting, which eventually led her to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

 

Career in Films

Debut and Early Success (2000–2003)

Reema Sen started her career as a model, featuring in several advertisements before making her acting debut in the Telugu film "Chitram" (2000), directed by Teja. The film was a commercial success and established her as a promising newcomer in the South Indian film industry.

 

Following the success of "Chitram," she made her Tamil debut with "Minnale" (2001) opposite Madhavan. The film was a romantic hit, and her role as Reena Joseph was well-received. The same year, she also starred in the Hindi remake of the film, "Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein" (2001), which became a cult favorite over the years.
