Biography

Revanta Sarabhai is an Indian film and theatre actor, classical dancer, and choreographer from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Recognized as one of the fittest and most versatile actors in the Gujarati film industry, he has established himself across cinema, stage, and dance performance.

 

 

Film Career

Revanta has played the lead in several Gujarati feature films, including:

Dhantya Open (2016)

O Taareee (2016)

Mijaaj (2018)

Paaghadi (2019)

Through these projects, he has demonstrated a range across romance, drama, and socially driven narratives. In addition to films, he has also hosted a dance reality show on television, further expanding his presence in the entertainment industry.

 

 

Artistic Heritage and Early Training

Born into one of India’s most distinguished artistic families, Revanta received his early classical dance training from his grandmother, Mrinalini Sarabhai, and his mother, Mallika Sarabhai—both internationally renowned performers and cultural icons.

 

He made his solo Indian classical dance debut at the age of eight. Since then, he has performed professionally and toured internationally with the India-based Darpana Academy of Performing Arts (also known as the Darpana Performance Group) from 1999 onward, while also pursuing independent artistic projects since 2010.
