Biography
Rishikanth Rajendran is an Indian actor who primarily works in Tamil-language films. Originally from Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, he pursued his ambition of becoming an actor and eventually moved into the Chennai-based film industry.
Before gaining opportunities in mainstream cinema, Rishikanth worked with the online comedy group Temple Monkeys, which helped him develop his performance skills through digital sketches. His journey was gradual, with several years spent taking supporting roles and gaining experience on film sets.
Acting career
Rishikanth began his film career with smaller appearances and steadily built his experience across feature films and web series. One of his early notable film appearances was in Irumbu Thirai (2018). He subsequently appeared in projects such as Hero (2019), Rocky (2021) and Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal (2022).
He continued working in different types of productions, including films and streaming projects. His appearance in Indian 2 (2024) and Coolie (2025) brought him opportunities to work on major Tamil film productions.
