Career

Madhesh began his career in the Tamil film industry by working as an assistant director under acclaimed filmmaker Shankar, one of India's most successful commercial directors. During this period, he gained valuable experience in filmmaking, screenplay development, and large-scale film production.

 

After years of assisting on major productions, Madhesh made his directorial debut with Madurey (2004), an action drama starring Vijay, Sonia Agarwal, and Rakshitha. The film performed well at the box office and introduced him as a promising commercial director.

He followed this with Thambi (2006), starring Madhavan and Pooja Umashankar. The film combined family drama, action, and comedy, receiving appreciation for its engaging screenplay and performances.
