Ruchir Arun
Biography
Ruchir Arun is a graduate of The Film and Television Institute of India. His diploma film Mandrake! Mandrake! was awarded under the categories 'Best Short Fiction Film' and 'Best Cinematography' at the Indian National Awards 2014.
Currently based out of Mumbai, Ruchir is well known for directing the popular digital series Little Things produced by Dice Media and Pocket Aces Pictures, starring Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal which is currently streaming on Netflix. He has also directed the family comedy web series What the Folks, and a YouTube sports drama titled Clutch for Pocket Aces.
Among short films, Ruchir directed Save The Date for Netflix, the anthology series Feels Like Ishq, and co-wrote and directed the short film Teen Tigada from the anthology series Unpaused: Naya Safar, alongside directors like Ayappa KM, Nagraj Manjule, and Nupur Asthana. Ruchir's upcoming miniseries on Disney+Hotstar, 'Ghar Waapsi' is set to release on the 22nd of July.
