Rudy Pankow is an American actor best known for his breakout role as JJ Maybank in the hit Netflix series Outer Banks. Born on August 12, 1998, in Ketchikan, Alaska, Pankow grew up in a small coastal town surrounded by nature and adventure. Initially passionate about sports, he played soccer throughout high school and even considered pursuing a career in culinary arts before discovering a love for performing.
