Biography
He is a veteran film producer and distributor. Rupert Preston is a founder of the British film company Vertigo Films and the distribution arm Vertigo Releasing.
He backed critically noted, challenging films:
Bronson (2008): He is credited as a producer on Nicolas Winding Refn's early, highly stylized crime biopic.
It's All Gone Pete Tong (2004): He helped produce and/or distribute this unique comedy/mockumentary, demonstrating an early focus on genre-bending, independent British films.
Monsters (2010): He served as an Executive Producer or was heavily involved in the distribution of Gareth Edwards' critically acclaimed, low-budget sci-fi debut, showcasing his eye for breakout directorial talent and commercial indie hits.
