Sabbir Khan is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer known for his work in Hindi cinema. He gained recognition for directing commercially successful action and romantic films, particularly those featuring young stars and high-energy storytelling. His father, Noor Dewasi, was a lyricist in the Hindi film industry, which exposed Khan to the world of cinema from an early age.
Early Life
Growing up in a film-oriented environment, Sabbir Khan developed a strong interest in filmmaking. His early exposure to movie sets, recording studios, and the creative process helped shape his understanding of the entertainment industry.
Career
Sabbir Khan made his directorial debut with the romantic comedy film Kambakkht Ishq in 2009. The movie starred Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor and attracted attention for featuring cameo appearances by Hollywood celebrities, including Sylvester Stallone.
His breakthrough came with Heropanti (2014), which introduced Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon to Bollywood. The film was a commercial success and established Khan as a director capable of launching new talent.
He continued his successful collaboration with Tiger Shroff in Baaghi (2016), an action thriller that became one of the year's notable box-office hits. Khan later directed Munna Michael (2017), a dance-action film starring Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
